NHB Hair & Beauty salon is owned by Nicola Slack, our salon Director and lead stylist, who has been with the business for many years helping clients across Yorkshire look & feel great.
Our team of professional stylists, technicians & therapists are a fun and lively bunch, with many years of experience in the hairdressing and beauty industry. We’ve been creating fabulous looks and helping our clients feel amazing for many years. With such high standards in the salon, our clients return to us time and time again.

The NHB salon
NHB Hair & Beauty Salon is conveniently located in the small market town of South Elmsall on the outskirts of Pontefract, Wakefield and Doncaster. Our location makes us the perfect spot for clients travelling from Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Wakefield, Barnsley & Pontefract with great road links to the A1, M18 and M1.
As we’re not in a major city we don’t charge city prices, however, our team of experienced stylists, technicians & therapists offer the same level of expertise across our broad range of services which make us exceptional value for money.
Our salon has a relaxed & friendly atmosphere with comfortable seating and large bright spaces, and we’re always happy to provide refreshments during your visit, and for those that want to, a good old chat too!

I’ve been a client of NHB for quite a few years now. Despite now living 150 miles away, I still come to Nouveau to have my hair cut and styled! Nouveau has a number of excellent stylists, a friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. Nicola also recently did my wedding hair & make up and it looked amazing – both lasted well and I got tons of compliments.
